EIGHT is proud to become the Official Financial Advice Partner and an Official Regional Partner of Southampton Football Club for the 2026/27 season.
But for us, this is about much more than seeing the EIGHT name around St Mary’s.
It’s an opportunity to reach into the Saints community, start more open conversations about money and help make financial education and advice feel accessible to more people.
EIGHT’s advisers support clients with pensions and retirement, investments, mortgages, insurance and protection, inheritance tax planning, care and later-life planning, and financial advice for business owners.
“We want this partnership to have a genuine and lasting impact, from grassroots through every stage of life.”
Ian Riggs
Founder and CEO, EIGHT Financial Advice
Financial advice isn’t only for the wealthy
Financial advice and wealth management can sound like services for people who already consider themselves wealthy. We want to help change that perception.
Life brings events and milestones that can have a significant impact on our finances. Getting married, buying a first home, starting a family, saving for a child’s education, building a business, caring for loved ones and preparing for retirement can all create new financial questions and decisions.
14.6 million
UK adults could benefit from investment advice but aren’t currently getting it.
Through our partnership with Southampton FC, we want to help more people understand that financial advice can be for them, and that starting a conversation is easier than they might think.
Building financial confidence from grassroots
Throughout the season, we will work with Southampton FC to create opportunities for financial education, practical guidance and open conversations about money.
You just need somewhere to start. That’s the thinking behind our new Talk to EIGHT campaign.
Supporting children and families in our community
The partnership will also bring the EIGHT Foundation and Saints Foundation closer together.
About the EIGHT Foundation
Founded in 2017, the EIGHT Foundation supports smaller, local causes relating to health, education and hardship. EIGHT matches every pound donated, helping every contribution go even further.
Together the two charitable organisations will identify local projects that the EIGHT Foundation can support, with a particular focus on children, young people and families in need. We’ll share updates and stories from these projects as the partnership develops.
What happens next
Over the coming season, we will share financial education opportunities, community initiatives and new ways for Saints supporters to engage with EIGHT.
